Atlanta Botanical Gardens
Enjoy a peaceful retreat within the city when you explore the 30-acre botanical garden near Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta. The Botanical Garden is comprised of smaller themed gardens, displaying different varieties of plants. Near the entrance you will see the formal gardens, like the Japanese garden and the Rose garden. There are two woodland areas, the Upper Woodland and the Storza Woods, which each feature large trees and shade-loving flowers. You'll also want to see the exquisite Fuqua Orchid Center, the conservatory, and the Aquatic Plant Pool. In the Children's Garden, there are whimsical sculptures, fountains, and educational exhibits on ecology, nutrition, and botany.
